Our Team

Ben is the President of cfX. He is an MSRB-registered Municipal Advisor Principal and a frequent speaker at HFA industry events. Prior to joining cfX in 2009, Ben worked in multi-family and mixed-use real estate development with Forest City Enterprises, and before that for Merrill Lynch/Bank of America in real estate investment banking. After joining cfX, Ben specialized in the structuring of single family and multifamily bond transactions. In 2017 he was named Chief Compliance Officer and in 2018, President. He holds an A.B. in Politics & Economics from Princeton University.

David is a Managing Director at cfX and an MSRB-registered Municipal Advisor. He has more than 25 years of experience with cfX and is a leader on client teams for California, Washington, New York, and Louisiana. He also manages the cfX group responsible for complex parity cash flow modeling, redemption optimization, arbitrage rebate calculations, mortgage and bond yield computations, and other general analytics using cfX technology. Prior to joining cfX, he worked as a financial analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. He holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the University at Albany and a B.S. in Business Administration from New Hampshire College.

Alex is a Managing Director at cfX and an MSRB-registered Municipal Advisor Representative. Since joining in 2010, Alex has specialized in structuring single-family and multifamily bond transactions, preparing rating-agency and management cash flows, conducting arbitrage computations, and optimizing bond redemptions. He holds a B.S. in Engineering & Management Systems with a minor in Economics from Columbia University.

Chuck is a Managing Director of cfX. He joined the firm in June 2021 after more than two decades in senior municipal finance roles, including CFO of MassHousing, where he managed more than $1 billion of annual bond issuance. He holds an M.B.A. from Northeastern University.

Jeremy is a Managing Director of cfX and an MSRB-registered Municipal Advisor Principal. He has more than 35 years of municipal finance experience, including over 30 years with cfX. He advises multiple state housing finance agencies on debt issuance, bond structuring, indenture management, and financial strategy. Jeremy holds an M.B.A. from New York University and bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering and Economics from the University of Notre Dame.

Michelle is a Managing Director of cfX and an MSRB-registered Municipal Advisor Principal. She oversees cash flow presentations, post-issuance compliance computations, redemption and refunding amounts, and bond and mortgage yield computations. Prior to joining cfX in 2004, Michelle was employed by the Shenzhen Development Bank in China. She holds an M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University.

Cindy is a Managing Director at cfX. From 2012 through 2025 Cindy was CFO of Iowa Finance Authority. She served on the GFOA Committee on Governmental Debt Management from 2017 through 2025. Cindy returned to cfX where she worked from 1998 until joining IFA. She earned a M.S. in Economics from UNC Chapel Hill.

Bennett is an Associate at cfX and an MSRB-registered Municipal Advisor Representative. Before joining cfX, he was an Associate at a municipal housing financial advisory firm providing TBA administration services and pricing analysis. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Finance and Economics.

Roshen joined cfX in 2022 and is an MSRB-registered Municipal Advisor Representative. Before joining, he was a Senior Financial Analyst with Hawkins Delafield Wood LLP providing financial analysis for municipal bond financings. He graduated from Baruch College's Zicklin Undergraduate Honors Program.

Alex joined cfX in 2017 and is an Associate and an MSRB-registered Municipal Advisor Representative. He has a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance from Fordham University and a B.S. in Statistics and B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Florida.

Seth joined cfX in 2022 as an Associate and an MSRB-registered Municipal Advisor Representative. Before joining Seth was a Portfolio Valuations Associate with IHS Markit, a division of S&P Global. Seth holds an M.S. in Finance from the University of Utah.

Amy is a Senior Analyst at cfX and an MSRB-registered Municipal Advisor Representative. Before joining cfX in 2025, she worked in AI-driven financial analysis and spent four years in fixed-income operations at Citibank in Taiwan. She holds an M.B.A. from Cornell University.

Sam joined cfX in 2025 as a Senior Analyst. Prior to cfX, Sam was an Analyst at a boutique investment bank providing M&A advisory services and part of the NY State Homes and Community Renewal fellowship. He holds an M.S. in Finance from Baruch College.

Iryna is an Analyst at cfX and an MSRB-registered Municipal Advisor Representative. Prior to joining cfX in 2024, she earned a Master of Science in Finance from The Ohio State University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in International Economic Relations from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine.

Jacob joined cfX in 2024 and is an Analyst. He recently completed a fellowship with New York State Homes and Community Renewal. Jacob completed an internship with Wells Fargo Securities' Housing group and graduated from Stony Brook University with a B.S. in Economics and Applied Mathematics.

Nagesh joined cfX in 2016 and is an Application Architect specializing in cash flow and web applications. He has over 23 years of experience building software applications at major banking institutions including JP Morgan Chase.

Frank is a Senior Application Developer for cfX. He joined in 2020 after fifteen years with JP Morgan Chase and Deutsche Bank/Bankers Trust. He specializes in full life cycle development and holds an M.S. in Computer Science from NYU Polytechnic.

Het joined cfX in 2023 and is an Application Developer. Before joining cfX, Het worked with Infosys at Visa Inc. He holds an M.S. in Computer Science from New York Institute of Technology.

Joel joined a predecessor of cfX Incorporated in 1982 and is a Lead Application Developer. He is responsible for programming enhancements to the CFX cash flow system and specializes in loan portfolio monitoring. Joel received a B.A. from Brandeis University and a Ph.D. from Princeton University.

Bob joined cfX in 2003 and is a Lead Application Developer responsible for the analysis, design and programming of CFX Transaction Structuring Software and Monte Carlo simulation control. Bob received his B.S. from MIT and his Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University.
